CCSD Announces High School 2023 Summer School Options Posted On: Friday, April 14, 2023. The Cherokee County School District again has earned national honors for its School Nutrition summer meals program! The incentive will begin immediately and expire May 15, 2021. The two-day event began Thursday and continues today at Canton First Baptist, with a goal of vaccinating 2,850 full-time and part-time CCSD employees. The Transportation Department began testing the Versatrans My Stop system last school year, and after a successful pilot, the system will be available to all CCSD parents beginning July 30 just in time for the first day of school on Aug. 1. CCSDs performance tops the States rate of 82% -- an all-time high since the State began using a new formula required by Federal law. Save the Date! The statewide summer honors program for Georgias top rising high school juniors and seniors offers four weeks of college-level instruction at Berry College in Rome.
